What I Do
Productivity Enhancement in Manufacturing
Manage improvement projects to improve manufacturing efficiency, cost, product quality, and worker safety by analyzing current methods, new methods, new technologies and cost reduction activities in selected areas. Effectively create and support process enhancement initiatives to drive an environment of continuous quality improvement throughout the company. Driving initiatives for sustainable and efficient practices in textile and apparel manufacturing, aligning with modern industrial standards.
Plant Layout and process flow Improvement
Develops, designs plans equipment and machine layouts, workflow, and safety precautions to maximize utilization of plant and manufacturing facilities and mitigate risks. Develops metrics to measure plant and equipment capacity output and identify equipment and process flow bottlenecks. Responsible for overall CAPEX plan for the plant to mitigate against loss of capacity due to bottlenecks or other operating inefficiencies.
Enhance Manpower Productivity:
Evaluates worker productivity and recommends improvements to increase manpower efficiency and operating performance, reduce waste and delays, and promote cost control/reductions. Study and suggest the factories’ right matrix of headcount and machine and fully utilize existing machines and manpower of production teams. Ensure balancing procedure for equal work distribution, accurate manpower allocation to reduce excess manpower and production improvement.
Automation & Robotics Solution:
Design and develop automation systems and robotic solutions to improve manufacturing processes, including assembly, packaging, material handling, and quality control. Collaborate with engineers to design robotic cells and integrate them into existing production lines or new installations. Select appropriate automation technologies and robotic arms, considering factors such as precision, payload, speed, and environment suitability. Leading automation initiatives in the garment & textile manufacturing industry, which significantly reduced operational costs and improved plant capacity
Industry 4.0 & Digitalization Project:
Lead and manage the implementation of Industry 4.0 technologies in manufacturing processes. Identify opportunities to integrate IoT devices, sensors, AI, robotics, and automation systems into production facility. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize operational processes using data-driven insights. Work closely with IT teams to implement robust protection measures for connected systems. Provide training and support to internal teams on Industry 4.0 tools and systems. Collaborate with other departments such as IT, engineering, and operations to ensure smooth technology integration. Stay current with the latest trends in Industry 4.0 and recommend innovations to senior leadership.
Costing and Development:
Analyzing all the new styles for assessing the product breakdown and line settings and evaluating the finalized style to find most economical CMT, and reduce the effective SMV of the garment, by simplifying the construction methods without affecting the approved appearance and quality of the garment. Risk Assessment for upcoming styles and prepare booklet mentioning the probable risk and advance preparation for it
Technical Support Services:
Lead and manage the technical team including size set and production technicians. Optimize production methods, workflows, and machinery usage to improve efficiency and reduce cost. Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support across production facility. Drive continuous improvement and lean manufacturing in technical processes
